PREMIUM CANVAS WRAPS by Breathing Color®
For a more premium, photographic looking canvas, choose Breathing Color®. Each canvas frame is built in-house and is stretched by hand. Available with traditional open frame construction or full box construction that gives it a rigid face to prevent re-stretching in the future.
Hanging options include an open back with a hanging wire or a museum backing with black Twaron® wire for a high-end option.
File & Print Information
- Size your file(s) at 100% size, 300 ppi
- Save your file as a level 12 JPG, in sRGB color space
- File names can only contain letters, numbers, dashes, and underscores. Spaces and special characters will not allow your file to process.

Image Preparation
Preparation for 3/4″ Thickness
When preparing a 3/4″ Canvas Wrap, add 1.25″ on each side of the image for the wrapped area. For instance, if you are ordering a 16″ x 20″ canvas, the file should be 18.5″ x 22.5″ at 300 dpi. This includes 3/4″ on the side and the 1/2″ that attaches to the back.
Preparation for 1-1/2″ Thickness
When preparing a 1-1/2″ Canvas Wrap, add 2″ on each side of the image for the wrapped area. For instance, if you are ordering a 16″ x 20″ canvas, the file should be 20″ x 24″ at 300 dpi. This includes 1-1/2″ on the side and the 1/2″ that attaches to the back.
Preparation for 2-1/2″ Thickness
When preparing a 2-1/2″ Canvas Wrap, add 3″ on each side of the image for the wrapped area. For instance, if you are ordering a 16″ x 20″ canvas, the file should be 22″ x 26″ at 300 dpi. This includes 2-1/2″ on the side and the 1/2″ that attaches to the back.
Border Options
- Full Wrap – All of the image is wrapped around the sides and partially on the back. Sufficient room in the image is required to make sure nothing gets wrapped around the side. Use the crop preview when ordering to confirm wrap.
- White, Black, or Custom Color Border* – Your image will get a border applied around the sides of the canvas.
- AI Stretch* – Using the latest artificial intelligence in photo manipulation, your image can have the sides stretched beyond what’s available in your images and can appear to make your image much larger than it originally was.
- Color Blur* – Using similar colors to your image, the border will be blurred to give a more natural blending to the sides of your canvas than a solid color.
